My baby boy is now 21.

And “21″ suddenly sounds much older than it used to.
That, taken with the whole my-baby-girl-is-in-college thing,

has me realizing where I am on the ol’ age continuum. . .

Both of my children have been voted “Most Individual” by their Senior classes.
There is no overstating how thrilled I am with that.

One of my best friends, Internet or otherwise, is Shannon . She is also one of most creative and gifted craftsters I’ve ever come across. And she and I are facing the same dilemma: pricing the things we make for sale. How in the world do I come up with a price for something that I made on a whim? Versus something I planned? Something I did in 20 minutes, but that looks more involved than something I worked a couple of days on?
Me, I just thread the tags on the things, slap a number on each, and put them away. They either fit or they don’t, but all my work is done.

Is it just me, or has this been a long week for everyone?
Hannah had her first college test this week. It was in Medical Terminology, and she made a 98.
Proud mother much?
She and I are spending some very nice time together, with the commuting to and from campus. That is an inestimable bonus to my current schedule. But days do get away from me faster lately — maybe I’m still reeling from catching up on all that went undone last week.
A couple more photos of Briton for you, and I promise I’ll put this show to bed.

My little girl has a blog now. If you’d like to say hi, you can go here. The life and thoughts of a 17-year-old. Not sure that even I will want to read every day.
And, from his wildly successful run in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom (sorry, no photos from Dr. Horrible yet), my son:

The wig is equal parts Taylor Swift and The Cowardly Lion, wouldn’t you say?

No solid food from Wednesday until yesterday. No anti-depressant for about the same.
I’ve been a ray of sunshine lately.
And then, of course, there’s this:

Anyone in the market for some handknits?

Festival that I’ve been preparing for was today. Too sick to be there. Lots — lots — of knit goods on my hands.
Hello, etsy.

Suddenly, Saturday, I got inspired to make knitting/sewing things for the Festival this weekend. Why did I not get this idea/inspiration sooner?
My first effort:

This is Weenky. What do you think?

. . . kitten?

It seems to be her favorite spot.

Save for the occasional lap.
