One of  my two Best Friends is in Atlanta for a couple of days, and here I am, stuck in the house with this miserable throat infection.  Not Strep, I’ve been assured, (beware ANYone coming at you with an elongated cotton swab), but an infection just the same.  It’s so miserable not to able to go see her.  Misery topped with Agony, crowned with Woe, capped with ripe Despair.

It was a weekend of medicine and naps and hot and cold beverages.  Knitting some.  Crossword puzzles.  Several people who have had this (or something that sounds remarkably like it) have told me I may be in it for a couple of weeks.  This would be my, uh. . .   fifth day of the sore throat, so we’ll see where antibiotics get me.

You?

Hoping you’re a fast healer and that it’s your last few days of the MTI. I’m not sick but that pic of a bed looks soooooo comfy.

Get better soon! I’ve never heard of a non-Strep throat infection lasting so long. Hoping the antibiotics do their job – lickety-split!
