I’ve just come back from our local Barnes & Noble, where I found a table full of knitting and crochet books for 50% off. It’s impossible for me to remember all the titles, but I do know the 3 Vogue Stitchionary volumes were there, as were the 3 Nicky Epstein “Edge” books, and the Vogue 25th Anniversay. If anyone out there would like me to return and pick up a copy for them, drop me a comment or an e-mail, and I’ll try my hardest. If you want to take a chance on sending me other titles as well, I can check them, too. There were a couple of beading books there, some sewing, quilting — just let me know.

Hmm. I looked up those titles on the B&N website, and they are all 50% off there too — so I would guess it’s chain-wide. I know what I will be doing after work tonight! Thanks for the heads-up!

YOU, my friend, are quite the enabler! I went to B&N after work and came home with six — yes, six! — books. However, that is a LOT of bookage for just $50! (I am a B&N member, plus I had a coupon for an extra 10% off my total purchase….what a deal!)
