Have you seen this?
The crotch-cam is, perhaps, a bit much, but, I mean, steady on, now.
And you know who else is cute? This
guy.
See, Rox, I like young ones, too.
Secret Pal 11 has begun. I’ve heard from my spoiler, and have contacted my spoilee. But, stupidly, I didn’t delete my name from my “anonymous” e-mail identity. She promises she won’t track me down, but what a miserable first impression.
D’oh!!
Go see “Stardust.” Just. . . Just. . . go. Is anybody ever better than Robert DeNiro? Ever?
Savoring this book. Hankering for this one. Checked it out of the library in Brentwood, and was very impressed. (Maybe a tutorial from Roxanne to get me started?)
The “knitcrusher” thing: get it? B & H were trying to help me come up with a nickname, and they all involved Alan, or Hugh, or The Sams, so . . . If you’re on Ravelry, too, and haven’t said “Hi,” please do!
By the way, I’m not the kind of knitter who keeps up with type of yarn, number of skeins, all that. Descriptions of what I finish, then, will be very skimpy. Comparatively speaking.
Waiting for the Dish Rag Tag team to wing our box my way. I’m last in line, as I’m closest to the return point of the package (which is Alabama.) Sort of stress-free, sort of stress-full, being the anchorperson.
Hepburn and I both feel every woman deserves a silk scarf. Noro will do nicely:
Or, a jaunty little novelty number:
New lamps/etageres in the den. Gable and Hannah take immediate advantage:
A new visitor to the All You Can Eat Fig Buffet:
And, lastly, a lovely idea from the equally lovely Melanie. I feel compelled to say this whenever I mention her, because she is truly lovely, and this sounds precisely like the kind of thing she’d find:
I will send a handmade gift to 3 random people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this Pay It Forward exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do if you like, is in return, pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

The ‘pay it forward’ idea is wonderful … even I might be able to make something with that kind of deadline – heh.

Thank you! It’s a wonderful concept, and I’m glad I stumbled upon it!
I just bought Wrapped in Comfort, too – what beautiful patterns! If I weren’t gearing up for Second Wave Clapotis, I’d be considering one of them for a fall project.

Hi – I just noticed the Spamalot posters on your wall. I spent last week queuing for the special release tix in Melbourne and I got a poster signed by Eric Idle for my efforts. The tix are for my Dad for his birthday (on Thursday). He is just going to love the poster! I should get if framed like yours.
